Queen City Ghostwalk’s Path of Ghostality tour is your chance to delve into Burlington’s dark side before you view the total solar eclipse.

Our guides will show you a side of Burlington rarely seen. It’s part spooky dive into history, part grand meet up for local ghost fans and paranormally inclined visitors.  

Astrologers say an eclipse does crazy things to spirit energy. Be part of the intensifying field of cosmic wonder when you join us for our Path of Ghostality Darkness Falls tour.

Meet at the Democracy Sculpture, Courthouse Plaza, 199 Main Street, Burlington.

DARKNESS FALLS TOUR

Our Darkness Falls tour was created by historian and author Thea Lewis (Haunted Burlington, Haunted Inns and Ghostly Getaways of Vermont, and more). This perennial favorite, chosen one of New England's best haunted walks by both Yankee Magazine and AAA, features some of Burlington's most infamous characters and intriguing haunts; theater ghosts, smugglers, serial killers, and more. Generally suitable for individuals ten and up. Some sensitive subject matter. Parental discretion advised.

GHOSTS & LEGENDS OF LAKE CHAMPLAIN TOUR

Discover Burlington’s lakefront spirits and harbor history on this fascinating tour created by Ghosts and Legends of Lake Champlain author, Thea Lewis. Burlington’s busy harbor, once the commercial hub of the Queen City, is is brimming with tales of mystery, tragedy, and the paranormal, with characters like The Hermit of Champlain, the Cotton Mill Ghost, Vermont’s most famous smuggler, and more. Generally suitable for individuals ten and up. Some sensitive subject matter. Parental discretion advised. 50% of the proceeds from September and October waterfront tours will benefit local charities.

FRIGHT BY FLASHLIGHT

Join us on this captivating tour featuring stories of the paranormal and lessons in vintage ghost hunting techniques. Using Burlington’s stunning Lakeview Cemetery as our investigation site, we’ll tell you about some of the ghosts who helped create the Burlington we know today, and show you how people located and communicated with spirits in days gone by. This tour is recommended for kids and adults eight years of age and up, who are excited by the idea of exploring a dark cemetery. Sensible footwear is recommended. Flashlights and tools provided.

Join us for an evening tour in this urban cemetery that features ghost stories and local lore at the graves of a former wife of Ethan Allen, a prominent railroad tycoon, Vermont’s most famous smuggler, and more. This walk, created by author and historian Thea Lewis, is a captivating look at some of Burlington’s most prominent early citizens. Suitable for individuals ten and up. Some sensitive subject matter. Looking for a tour packed with some of Burlington's most grisly tales? Gather your True Crime loving friends and join historian Thea Lewis, author of True Crime Stories of Burlington, Vermont and Wicked Vermont, on a tour that recounts some of the Queen City's most infamous murders and misdeeds.

Get on the bus with Queen City Ghostwalk for a tour of one of America’s most haunted campuses, the University of Vermont!

Hear tales of the infamous “Henry”, the irascible Captain Nabb, the vivacious but departed Daisy Smith, and more. Join author and storyteller Thea Lewis for an evening of spine-tingling fun and surprises.

This tour may not be suitable for young children due some sensitive content and is suggested for guests 14+. Parental discretion is advised.
