An historian and author who has developed historic tours for the Burlington and Montpelier areas, she’s been called Vermont’s Queen of Halloween. She’s written seven books of haunted, wicked, and true crime stories for The History Press. Her children’s book titled, There’s A Witch In My Sock Drawer, was published in 2011. Thea, who was the 2024 winner of The Vermont Writers’ Prize for her short work of fiction, Farm Boy, researches and writes every story you’ll hear on your walk.
